Bio
Dr. Sripada’s research investigates neurocognition, executive functions, and regulatory control across a range of psychiatric disorders, especially attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and substance use disorders. His research uses multiple methods, especially neuroimaging and computational methods, to better understand, diagnose, and treat these conditions. Important themes of recent work include: 1) connectomics – mapping structural and functional networks encompassing hundreds of thousands of connections across the brain; 2) multivariate methodology – quantifying distributed patterns associated with disorders using methods from statistics and computer science; 3) developmental focus – mapping altered maturational trajectories of brain networks in youth.
