个人简介
Prof. Cecilia W.P. Li-Tsang is specialized in the field of burns and scar management and hand rehabilitation. In 2012, she has obtained the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award (Second Class Award) to recognize her contribution in Burns and Scar management.
Over the past years, she has published over 100 papers in professional and international journals with high impact factor and has been successful in bidding more than HK$30 million of research funding support from the General Research Fund (GRF), Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF), Quality Education Fund (QEF) and others.
Her excellent teaching performance is demonstrated by the awards that she received in the past years, namely, Faculty team teaching award (2010) and the best teaching learning project award (2011). She is also the Faculty Outcome based education (OBE) Champion and is currently appointed as the visiting professor of Sichuan University, South Western Hospital, Chongqing Military No.3 University Hospital and Peking University, etc. She is currently appointed as the award leader of the Doctoral programme in Health Sciences (Occupational Therapy) award.
She has been actively involved in the development of rehabilitation education in Mainland China and Asian regions. She is appointed as the member of the steering committee for the Institute of Disaster Management and Reconstruction (IDMR), Sichuan University cum Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She was the founding president of Asia Pacific Federation of Societies for Hand Therapy (APFSHT) and executive committee member of the International Federation of Societies for Hand Therapy (IFSHT).
