He has served in numerous technical programme committees as both pc member and pc chair and is currently chairing ACM Computing Frontiers' steering committee.
His research interests comprise high performance computer architectures, microprocessor architectures, multi- and many-core architectures as well as the adaptation of numerical simulation codes to these architectures.
