Bio
Carmen G. Montana received her PhD at Texas A&M University in 2012 in Wildlife and Fisheries Science. Her research is broad within the fields of freshwater fish ecology, and community and evolutionary ecology. In particular, she is interested in understanding the mechanisms structuring ecological communities across spatial and temporal scales and quantifying such relationships. She uses both natural and human-impacted freshwater ecosystems to investigates how environmental, historical, and anthropogenic factors influence community organization, food-web structure, and ecosystem functions.
