个人简介
My research and teaching areas are focused on the study of the hydrological processes, and how these are affected by disturbances such as droughts, forest fires and land use changes in dry, temperate and humid ecosystems. My projects, publications and directed theses address meteorological and hydrological drought assessment, forest fire risk, distribution and severity, hydrological modeling, ecohydrological functionality and implications of landscape changes on hydrological processes. In most of my work I integrate the spatially explicit component to characterize processes and model scenarios that serve as a basis for proposing alternatives for natural resource use and management.
