Bio
Carlos Frederico Meschini Almeida (Member, IEEE) received the graduate degree in electrical engineering and the master's and Doctorate degrees in electrical engineering, with an emphasis on electrical power systems, from the Escola Politecnica of Universidade de Sao Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil, in 2003, 2007, and 2011, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor with Escola Politecnica, integrating the Department of Electrical Energy and Automation Engineering. He has experience in the area of electrical engineering, with an emphasis on transmission and distribution of electric energy, acting mainly on the following topics, electric power quality, smart grids, planning of electrical systems, and projects of electrical installations.
