Capucine Sassoye currently works at the Laboratoire de Chimie de la Matiere Condensee de Paris (LCMCP), Sorbonne Universite.
*Design and synthesis of functional inorganic/ hybrid nano or nanostructured materials:
Coupling of sol-gel chemistry with process toward the perfect control of composition, structure, porosity, functionality, and morphology to prepare oxides and metallic nanoparticles.
*Materials for environmental catalytic issues such as CO2 reduction, total elimination of atmospheric pollutant greener and more efficient production of NH3.
*Pair Function Distribution (PDF) analysis, from diffuse XRD patterns allowing to obtain structural information on amorphous solids or “very small” nanoparticles. Experiments usually performed on an upgraded laboratory D8 diffractometer.
