Bio
Hong Cao received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Nanjing University, Nanjing, China, in 1992 and 1995, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison, WI, in 2001.
Currently, he is a senior development engineer at St. Jude Medical - Daig Division, working on the catheter design for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. His research interests include medical instrumentation, RF catheter ablation of cardiac tissue and hepatic tumors, and medical information systems.
He is contributing author [with Dr. J. G. Webster (Ed.), of Minimally Invasive Medical Technology (Bristol, U.K.: IOP Publishing, 2001).
