Camilo Saavedra

Doctor in Marine Sciences, Technology and Management. I has been studying the ecology and population dynamics of cetaceans for more than a decade, as well as their human pressures and threats, such as accidental capture. I am currently working at the Spanish Institute of Oceanography, where I lead the marine mammals and ecosystems team. I am responsible for the implementation of the national marine mammal monitoring and assessment under the MSFD.
