从事农产品、林产品的贮藏保鲜、精深加工及生物活性物质的分析分离功能等方面的研究,主持及参与国家自然基金项目、国家林业局公益性行业专项、国家林业局948引进项目、教育部博士点基金项目、省级科技支撑(农业)项目等科研项目20余项;获省级科技进步奖3项,梁希林业科学技术奖1项。已出版教材和著作13部,授权国家发明专利12项,在国内外学术期刊发表论文150余篇,其中高质量SCI、EI论文30余篇。主要面向食品科学与工程/发酵工程/轻工技术工程专业招收博士和硕士研究生。
