Cahya Edi Santosa (Member, IEEE) received the bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in 2003, the master’s degree from electrical engineering from the Bandung Institute of Technology, Bandung, Indonesia, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in information processing and computer science from Chiba University, Chiba, Japan, in 2019.
Since 2003, he has been a Researcher with the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space of Indonesia (LAPAN), Bogor, Indonesia. Since 2019, he has been a Research Associate (Postdoctoral Research Fellowship) with the Center of Environmental and Remote Sensing, Chiba University. His primary interest includes analysis of broadband microstrip array antenna, conformal antenna for mobile communication, circularly polarized horn antenna, and research on synthetic aperture radar onboard UAV, airborne, and satellite.
Dr. Santosa is a member of the IEEE Transaction Antenna and Propagation Society and the Institute of Electronics, Information, and Communication Engineers of Japan. He was a recipient of the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space of Indonesia (LAPAN) Awards for Best Young Researcher in 2008, the Outstanding Ph.D. Excellence Academic Award from Chiba University in 2018, and several awards related to his research.
