Bio
My main activities have focused on the design and physicochemical characterization of innovative drug delivery systems such as lipid-based nano structures, the evaluation of medicines, raw materials and biomolecules through techniques such as microcalorimetry and rheology as well as drug permeation, retention and release studies with Franz cells model employing artificial and biological membranes.
I have knowledge of instrumental analysis that includes the use of analyzers for particle size determination by light scattering (static and dynamic) and determination of Z potential with electroacoustic and electrophoretic phenomena applicable to pharmaceutical and biological systems. High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), UV-Vis and IR spectroscopy and dissolution tests.
I have participated in different science dissemination events aimed at both public and private sectors, writen scientific texts and applied for a patent registration at the Mexican Institute for Private Property.
