Bio
Carla Ragonezi graduated in Biological Sciences (Brazil, 2006), and have a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Évora in Portugal (2013). Currently works as an auxiliary researcher in ISOPlexis Center at Madeira University, Portugal. Coming from a strong background in Biology and Environmental Sciences operates in the area, with an emphasis on agricultural and environmental biotechnology, plant breeding, and plant-fungus interaction studies. During professional activities interacted with different collaborators, participated in different scientific events, and guided the students from graduation and master's students. Interests: agri-food; food crops; agricultural practices; sustainable agriculture; soil microbiological diversity; plant microorganisms’ interactions. Since 2020, a full member of the CITAB - Centre for the Research and Technology of Agro-Environmental and Biological Sciences, UTAD.
