个人简介
Callum is an experienced laser physicist / optical engineer with a demonstrated history of working on optics-based R&D projects. He obtained a PhD developing novel high power laser architectures at the Optoelectronics Research Center, University of Southampton. He has worked on exciting and cutting-edge postdoc projects, including the development of a robust high power hollow-core fiber delivery system for materials processing applications at the University of Southampton, and the development of a deep-UV supercontinuum laser system with unprecedented noise properties for applications within semiconductor metrology at the Technical University of Denmark. He has worked in the consumer medical device industry, where he developed an optics-based in vitro medical device adhering to ISO 13485. He is currently working as a postdoc at DTU developing next generation supercontinuum sources.
He has a strong publication record across a wide range of areas within optics and photonics and has generated multiple important patents. He is skilled in laser physics, high power lasers, pulsed lasers, free space optics, optical fibers, supercontinuum sources, nonlinear optics, medical devices, imaging, microscopy, optical engineering, nanoparticles, microfluidics and mathematical modelling.
