Bio
Prof. Christian Legros holds a PhD in Neurobiology from the University of Marseille, France. Since 2011, he is professor at the University of Angers (France), and researcher at the laboratory of Cardiovascular and mitochondrial physiopathology (UMR CNRS 6015, INSERM U1083, University of Angers). He is currently working on different aspects of the cellular and molecular pharmacology of voltage-gated sodium channels (alkaloids, scorpion toxins…) and their role in different cell types (endocrine cells, vascular endothelial cells…). Some of his projects include GABA receptors and nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. He uses mainly electrophysiology and Ca2+ imaging on in vitro models.
