个人简介
C.-J. Richard Shi (Fellow, IEEE) received the B.S. degree and E.S. degree in electronic engineering from the Fudan University, Shanghai, China, in 1985 and 1987, respectively, and the E.S. degree in electronic engineering and Ph.D. degree in computer science and technology from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Canada, in 1990 and 1993, respectively.
He is currently a Professor in electrical and computer engineering since 2004 with the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA, where he joined in 1998. His current research interest includes energy-efficient circuit and system design for sensing, computing, learning, and communication.
Prof. Shi has directed several sponsored research projects in the area of Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC), Phase Locked Loop (PLL), Serializer/Deserializer (SerDes), and Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) design since 2005. Previously, he worked in the area of computer-aided design of mixed-signal integrated circuits, in which for his contribution he was elevated to a Fellow of the IEEE in 2005. He was the recipient of several awards for his research including Donald O. Pederson Best IEEE Transactions on CAD Paper Award, Best Paper Awards from the IEEE/ACM Design Automation Conference, the IEEE VLSI Test Symposium, and the SRC Technical Conference, and an NSF CAREER Award. He has served for ten years as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, twice as an Associate Editor, once as a Guest Editor, for the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems-II: Analog and Digital Signal Processing, as well as Transactions Briefs.
