Chris J. Coleman (M'00) received the B.Sc. degree in mathematics and the Ph.D. degree in theoretical physics from Imperial College, London University, London, U.K., in 1971 and 1974, respectively, and the B.Eng. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Adelaide University, Adelaide, South Australia, in 2000. Between 1974 and 1990, he held a variety of teaching and research posts in the Mathematics departments of Imperial College, the University of Wales, the University of Nottingham, and the University of Wollongong. From 1990 until 1999, he served as a Principal Research Scientist on the Jindalee over the horizon radar project. In 1999, he joined the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of the University of Adelaide as an Associate Professor. His current research interests include radio wave propagation, antennas and mathematical methods for engineering. Dr. Coleman is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters.
