Bio
My name is Chul Hee Min who is working as a professor in the Department of Radiation Convergence Engineering at Yonsei University, Korea. The interesting research field of our group called as radiation physics analysis Lab. is radiation engineering including radiation detection, radiation therapy, radiation protection, computational human phantom, etc. Current our research projects are (1) In-vivo Dose Verification based on Time Profile of Prompt Gammas in Proton Therapy, (2) Development of an Algorithm for Radionuclide Analysis of Radiation Portal Monitor to Prevent Nuclear Terrorism, (3) Feasibility Study for Spectral Unfolding of Clinical Megavoltage Photon Beams with Transmission Method, (4) Development of Evaluation Technique for Effective Dose Based on Database Construction of Exposed Dose Using Female Human Phantom. While the current research projects supported by the Korean government are based on the key technique with Monte Carlo method, development technique of innovative radiation detector, and advanced computer programming skills.
