Her activity is centered around digestive oncology and rare endocrine tumours. She also has developed translational research dedicated to gastric, colorectal and pancreatic cancers with the Cancer Research Center of Lyon (CRCL) (TGFB and Pancreatic Cancer - UMR INSERM 1052 - CNRS 5286).
Christelle de la Fouchardière has published more than 100 scientific articles, with papers for which she was lead author, focusing on the management and treatment of digestive cancers especially gastro-esophageal and pancreatic cancers, biliary tract carcinomas, MSI tumors, and thyroid or adrenal tumors.
Christelle de la Fouchardière is the current president of the Unicancer Gastro-Intestinal group (UCGI) and co-chair of the PRODIGE group. She is also the secretary of the EORTC Endocrine Tumor Group (EnTG).
