Bio
Byung-Hyun Choi is the chief of the Electronic Materials and Electronic Parts division and a head of the Electronic Materials Lab at the Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology, Seoul, Korea. He received a Ph.D degree from the University of Ajou, South Korea, in 1990. He worked in the Ceramic Engineering Department of the National Industrial Testing Institute, Seoul, Korea, from 1981 to 2000 as a research official. After that, he worked in the Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology (KICET) from 2000 to 2009. From 1989 to 2003, He was an assistant professor at University of Ajou, University of Dankook, University of Dongshin and University of Sejong. His research fields are the electronic materials and electronic parts for electronic devices; constituent materials for solid oxide fuel cells, such as sealing materials; constituent materials of multilayered devices; and ceramic materials for plasma display panel.
