Dr. An’s research has been published in leading journals, such as Public Administration Review, American Review of Public Administration, American Politics Research, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Housing Studies, and Urban Affairs Review. With various methods and analytic lens, his research programs are interdisciplinary, spanning the boundaries of public policy, management, urban planning, political science, and economics. He is a recipient of multiple awards, including the Henry Reining Best Dissertation Award in Public Policy and Management from the USC Price School of Public Policy, the Best Paper Award in Urban and Local Politics from the American Political Science Association, and the Donald C. Stone Best Paper Award on Federalism and Intergovernmental Relations from the American Society for Public Administration.
