个人简介
I am a committed and self-driven graduate with a strong passion for environmental protection and sustainability. I am currently researching the beneficiation of laterite ores using pyrometallurgical methods.
I have an M.Eng. in Metallurgical Engineering from Central South University (China) and a B.Eng in Mining and Mineral Processing Engineering from Midlands State University (Zimbabwe). During my master’s, I researched the pyrometallurgical recycling of spent lithium-ion batteries, and l published 3 SCI journal articles, including an innovation patent. Of these articles, one has been regarded as a highly cited paper showing its impact on the intended audience. In addition, l co-authored 8 publications to which l offered substantial contributions.
I have mastered research scheduling and optimization through my graduate research assistantship and developed transferable skills. In my work-related learning experience as a mining and mineral processing intern at Golden Valley Mine, I have gained a sophisticated understanding of mining and mineral processing and developed profound skills in ore beneficiation.
I have a strong international orientation and international experience. My research interest stems from sustainable high-temperature materials processing, considering the mounting pressure to reduce carbon emissions
