个人简介
Researcher and research software engineer. My main interests are artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, macromolecular docking and interactions, scientific software development and high performance computing.
I obtained my degree in Computer Sciences from UPC BarcelonaTech in 2008, worked in the private sector until 2010, date in which I started my PhD in Bioinformatics (Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Universitat de Barcelona), defending my thesis in 2016 with a final grade of Cum Laude. During my studies and research, I had the opportunity to specialize one year at the EPFL (Lausanne, Switzerland) in swarm intelligence and biocomputing, and becoming a visitor student at the National Institute of Biomedical Innovation in Osaka, Japan. From 2018 to 2021 I was a postdoctoral researcher at BonvinLab. At the moment, I am a senior researcher at Zymvol Biomodeling and I am also a course instructor at the UOC (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya) in the UOC-UB MSc in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics.
