Bio
Brett J. Borghetti received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Worcester, MA, USA, in 1992, the M.S. degree in computer systems from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Dayton, OH, USA, in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, Minneapolis, MN, USA, in 2008. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering Management, AFIT. He has research experience in estimating human cognitive performance, statistical machine learning, genetic algorithms, self-organizing systems, neural networks, game theory, information theory, and cognitive science. His research interests include improving human–machine team performance in complex environments using artificial intelligence and machine learning.
