Bio
His current research interests are in epigenetic regulatory mechanisms that control stem cell activity, differentiation and reprogramming in the skin, as well as during skin carcinogenesis. Vladimir published over 90 papers and reviews in top-ranked international journals including Nature Cell Biology, Lancet Oncology, J Cell Biology, PNAS, EMBO J, Cancer Research, Development, J Invest Dermatology, etc. His research program is funded by the grants from the NIH, MRC, BBSRC and pharmaceutical industry. Vladimir serves as Section Editor for the Journal of Investigative Dermatology, Associate Editor for Experimental Dermatology and member of the ACTS Study Section at NIH.
