Bio
Bohr-Ran Huang received his M.S. and Ph.D degrees in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University 1986 and 1992, respectively. In 1992, he joined the National Yunlin University of Science and Technology as an Associate Professor of Electronic Engineering and became a Full Professor in 2000. He served as Chair of the Electronic Engineering department and Director of Optoelectronic Institute in National Yunlin University of Science and Technology between 2002 and 2007. Currently, he is a distinguished Professor in the Graduate Institute of Electro-optical Engineering and Department of Electronic Engineering of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). Since 2011, he has also served as the Vice-Dean for the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His multidisciplinary research areas include synthesis of nano-materials, silicon-based solar cells, nano-imprint technology and nano-optoelectronic sensing devices. He serves as Dean for college of electrical Engineering and Computer Science since Feb. 1, 2015.
