个人简介
Dr. Bo Li is currently an Associate Professor and the Principle Investigator of Hybrid Nano-Architectures and Advanced Manufacturing Lab (HNAM) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Villanova University.
He received a B.S. degree in Polymer Materials Engineering (2005) and a Master degree in Materials Engineering (2008) from Sichuan University, Sichuan, China, and a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering (Materials Engineering Division) from Northeastern University, Boston in 2013. He worked as Postdoc Research Associate in the Department of Materials Science and NanoEngineering at Rice University, under the supervision of Prof. Pulickel M. Ajayan.
His research interests include: i) Advanced manufacturing of novel 1D to 3D nanomaterials (nanotube, graphene, BN and transition-metal chalcogenides) and highly organized nano- to micro-architectures: synthesis, interface engineering, fabrication, and structure-property relation;ii) multifunctional system based on nanocarbon-polymer hybrid architectures (chemical sensor, resonator, flexible and transparent electrodes for energy harvesting system); and iii) nanomaterials-Polymer composite: structure-property relation and nanomaterials-polymer interface.
He has published more than 50 papers in high impact peer-reviewed journals such as Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Photonics, Nano Letters, Advanced Materials, Angewandte Chemie, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, Small, etc.
