Bo Engdahl

Bo Engdahl received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Norwegian institute of Technology, Trondheim, Norway, in 1988 and the Ph.D. degree in technical audiology from the Medical faculty, University of Oslo, Oslo, Norway, in 1996. Between 1988 and 1996, he worked as an Engineer in audiology at the ENT Deparment, Ullevål hospital, Oslo. Since 1996, he has been at the Department of Environmental Medicine, National institute of Public Health, Oslo, leading a research group which studies the effects of noise on health. Since 2001, he is also working as an Acoustic Consultant with BS akustikk. His recent research projects include epidemiologic studies on hearing loss, otoacoustic emissions, and noise exposure.
