个人简介
Dr. Bikash Ranjan Behera received his B. Tech. degree from Gandhi Engineering College, Bhubaneswar, India, in 2012, and his M.E. degree from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, India, in 2016. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in the field of RF and microwave engineering from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar, India, in 2023.
In 2017, he was awarded the Young Scientist Award at URSI-RCRS-2017 held in Tirupati, India. In 2018, he received a travel grant from the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (APS) for presenting a paper at the IEEE Indian Conference on Antennas and Propagation (InCAP) 2018 held in Hyderabad, India, and was awarded the recognition "Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing" from the Editors of AEUE-International Journal of Electronics and Communications (Elsevier), Amsterdam, Netherlands.
From August 2021-December 2021, he worked as the Guest Faculty in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the International Institute of Information Technology Bhubaneswar, India. Dr. Behera has joined the Centre for Advanced Post Graduate Studies (BPUT) Rourkela, India as a Guest Faculty in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering from December 2021 to May 2022. From September 2022 to May 2023, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Sciences (MITS) Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. Later Dr. Behera joined Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed-to-be-University) on May 2023 onwards. His major research interests include RF front-ends for efficient RF energy harvesting applications, metamaterials-antenna designing, reconfigurable antennas, characteristics mode analysis, computational electromagnetics, and EM optimization techniques.
He is an active reviewer for many reputed journals such as IAEUE-International Journal of Electronics and Communication; IET-Electronics Letters; IET-Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation; Hindawi-International Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering; Hindawi-International Journal on Antennas and Propagation; IEEE Open Journal on Antennas and Propagation respectively.
