Career Trajectory
Bio
I am a graduate student at the Molecular Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery (MPDD) division, College of Pharmacy, The University of Texas at Austin.
Before joining UT Austin for my Ph.D., I received my MS in Pharmacy specializing in pharmaceutics from Kyungpook National University (Daegu, South Korea) and my Bachelor in Pharmacy from Kathmandu University (Dhulikhel, Nepal).
My research interests include i) maximizing biopharmaceutical profiles like solubility, oral bioavailability, stability, permeability, etc., of poorly water-soluble and/or low permeable drug molecules (BCS class II & IV) through amorphous solid dispersion, co-crystals, and lipid-based formulations and (ii) 3D printing of pharmaceuticals for personalized and targeted drug delivery.
My current research focuses on 3D-printing technologies, notably FDM and SLS, for the fabrication of modified-release dosage forms, their quality assessment and physicochemical characterization, and the use of QbD/PAT tools for product and/or process optimization.
