个人简介
Learning is the motor of intelligence enabling perception, cognition and skillful behavior. Machine learning (ML) has become the key technology to mimic the brain but still lacks its amazing capability of fast learning and coping with highly variable situations and complex environments without any expert supervision. I am studying visual processing and fast continual learning in the brain to develop new ML methods that make learning more robust, more data efficient and more interpretable. My goal is to build machines which can autonomously learn versatile sets of representational models of their environment. This technology will help us to better understand ourselves, others, and the world that we live in.
