Bio
Benjamin Cotté received his M.S. degree in acoustics from Penn State University in 2005 and his Ph.D. degree in acoustics from Ecole Centrale de Lyon in 2008, where he studied acoustic wave propagation in the atmosphere in the context of high speed trains.
He joined the INSERM U556 in 2009 as a postdoctoral researcher, where he worked on energy transfer by ultrasound for medical applications and ultrasound wave propagation in tissues. Since 2011, he has been an Assistant Professor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Techniques Avancées (ENSTA) in Paris, France. His current research interests include acoustic propagation in inhomogeneous media and time-domain modeling in structural acoustics.
Dr. Benjamin Cotté is a member of the Acoustical Society of America and of the Société Française d'Acoustique.
