Benjamin C Campbell

My research centers on the evolution of human life history, with hormones and the brain as major themes. I have done field work on testosterone and the male life course among Turkana and Ariaal pastoral nomads of Kenya, as well as captive baboons. More recently, I have focused on the role of adrenarche in human childhood. My current work seeks to connect adiposity with DHEAS in both humans and the great apes. I have also published on primates and evolution education with my students, as well.
