个人简介
I am Bed Prakash Das, an accomplished Electrical Engineer and a dedicated researcher in the field of intelligent building management systems and IoT. With expertise in intelligent system modeling, estimation, and machine intelligence, I am passionate about developing energy-efficient solutions that revolutionize user experiences and drive sustainability.
Currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Calcutta, I am honored to serve as a Senior Research Fellow under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India. My research focuses on the integration of IoT technologies and intelligent algorithms to optimize building performance, with a specific emphasis on the HVAC system. Working under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Kaushik Das Sharma, I am exploring innovative approaches such as Kalman filter-based applications to achieve real-time energy management and user-centric building control.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have gained valuable experience in various professional roles. As a Senior Research Fellow and Junior Research Fellow at the Department of Applied Physics, I have contributed to significant projects, collaborating with government agencies and leveraging my expertise to address key challenges in the field. I have also had the privilege of serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calcutta, where I mentored students and shared my knowledge in Electrical Engineering.
With a diverse skill set, I am proficient in tools and languages such as Python, MATLAB, C/C++, and embedded C. I am also adept at using MS Office and LaTeX, with a basic understanding of Visual Studio and Proteus. Fluent in English and Bengali, and with a foundational knowledge of German, I excel in communicating with diverse stakeholders.
Driven by a passion for learning, I firmly believe in the power of collaboration and knowledge sharing. I have contributed as an Assistant Professor at the Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology, imparting knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Additionally, I have served as a freelance technical trainer, conducting workshops on machine learning, data analytics, and Python programming.
