Bio
Beatriz Antonieta Moya is a Ph.D. candidate in the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary in the Educational Research program, specializing in Leadership, Policy, and Governance. Formerly, Beatriz Antonieta Moya worked for ten years as an educational developer in Chilean higher education, where she led communities of practice for teaching and learning innovation and a pioneering educational program for learning assistants. Her current motivation as a student researcher is to analyze emerging issues and provide recommendations to facilitate transformations in higher education institutions that are invested in pursuing academic integrity and social justice in teaching, learning, assessment, and research practices. Building on this motivation, Beatriz Antonieta Moya informs her research with methodologies that explore experiential and situated insights and with the fields of Academic Integrity, the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), Leadership, and, more recently, Artificial Intelligence.
