Bio
Bassem M. Mokhtar is assistant professor in the Department of the Electrical Engineering in Faculty of Engineering, University of Alexandria, Egypt. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Alexandria University, Egypt, in 2004 and 2008, respectively. In 2014, He received Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech, USA. He is a senior member of IEEE. His research interests include autonomic resilient network, data managements, semantics reasoning, network intelligence, software-defined networking, semantic-driven networking operations, information management, knowledge-based network management and system modeling. He is a valued IEEE member since 2006. Additionally, He has been involved as a reviewer for various conference papers and journals including IEEE Transactions on Computers and Smart Grids and Elsevier Journal of Network and Computer Applications (JNCA). Furthermore, he is researcher at and co-founder of the Center of Smart Nanotechnology and Photonics (CSNP), Smart CI Research Center of Excellence, Alexandria University, Egypt.
