I am at present Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry at University of Insubria in Como. In recent years my research interests are mainly focus on the two areas of: (i) control process strategies through multivariate analysis (ii) design and development of smart analytical strategies to solve real-world problems, from sampling to data analysis. Infrared and near-infrared spectroscopies, especially using portable sensors, are the techniques that interest me most right now.
