Baohua Qiang

Baohua Qiang was born in Nanyang, China, in 1972. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Southwest University, Chongqing, China, in 1996 and 2002, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Chongqing University, Chongqing, in 2005. In 2007, he joined the University of Illinois Chicago, Chicago, IL, USA, as a Visiting Scholar. From 2007 to 2009, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher with the South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China. He is currently a Professor with the Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Guilin, China. He has authored 1 book, more than 60 articles, and more than 10 inventions. His major research interests include web information processing, intelligent search, massive data processing, image processing, and network information integration.
