Barbara A Murphy

Dr. Barbara Murphy is the Animal Science-Equine Programme Director and Head of Subject for Equine Science in the School of Agriculture and Food Science at UCD. Her academic research related to equine chronobiology led to the development of a multi-award winning innovation - the Equilume Light Mask - that has profoundly impacted equine husbandry in the multi-billion Euro global horse breeding industry, had significant reputational impact for UCD and led to the successful spin-out of Equilume Ltd.
