Araraquara, Brazil. Besides, she gave lectures at technical faculty University of Mar del Plata, Argentina (2000), University Carlos III, Madrid, Spain (2001, 2003), Faculty for Industrial Ceramics, Limoges, France (2002, 2005), University Tor Vergata, Roma, Italy (2003, 2007), Keio University, Jokohama, Japan (2004) and the International School for Postgraduate Education IJS, Ljubljana, Slovenia (2015-present). According to Brazilian CAPES program Science without border, she is permanently engaged in education and research cooperation projects.
In the scientific- research activities, she is engaged in the field of materials for the application in the electronics with special attention to synthesis, structure, properties and application of nanostructured materials. She published 4 books, (English and Serbian), 3 monographs, 24 chapters in the books (English), and editor of 4 books (English). She published more than 280 articles in renowned international journals from the SCI list, more than 150 abstracts or shorter articles in the Proceedings from the conferences, presenting more than 20 plenaries, invited or key-note lectures at the international conferences. Her papers were cited more than 3800 times, h index is 51. She is in the list of 100 best scientists in Serbia, and according to Stanford list for 2020. Stojanovic is in the list of 2% Top scientists in the world for full carrier. She participated in huge numbers of national and international projects (EU programs FP6 and FP7, COST, Spanish national, thematic Latino-American projects, Japanese projects, etc). Stojanovic is full member of the International Academy of the Sciences of Sintering and a member of several international scientific journals boards and engaged as a permanent reviewer in respectable scientific journals. Engineering activity was expressed through the app. 70 original technical designs, most of them is practically applied, 4 national and 2 international patents.
In management activities she was engaged in European Cooperation on Science and Technology-COST as the national coordinator of Serbia (2006-2014), representative of Serbia in the Committee of Senior Officials -CSO COST (2008-20014), and as EU projects reviewer, Brussels, Belgium. Currently she is the secretary of Technology, Metallurgy, and Material Engineering Department AESS, president of the Interdepartmental Committee for International Cooperation AESS (ICIC), member of Directory of World Associations of Engineering Academies CAETS, Prof. Biljana Stojanovic has daughter Aleksandra, son Milos and grandson Nemanja.
