个人简介
During my bachelor physics of life and health, I became interested in the application of technology to improve the public health. I performed my Bachelor thesis with the medical physics group at KVI-cart in Groningen on the subject of proton therapy. Drawn more to the applied side of physics I continued to study the Master Biomedical Engeneering track: imaging and instrumentation. At the department of Nuclear Medicine of the UMCG, I did a internship on the evaluation of a tool to derive parkinsons related scores from Positron emission tomography images, which got published and i became co-author. For my master thesis I worked at the department of radiotherapy on the genation of arteficial CT images from MRI images using a deep convolutional Neural Network. At the moment[2020] I am a PhD student at the deparment of Radiotherapy researching the benefits for the patient and clinic of spot scanning proton arc therapy.
