Bio
Ayca Kirimtat received the M.Sc. degree from the Computational Design study program, Architecture Department, Yasar University, Turkey. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Applied Informatics Study Program, University of Hradec Kralove (UHK), Czech Republic. She has been making research on smart floating cities based on her dissertation topic at the Faculty of Informatics and Management, UHK. She has published more than ten IF research articles and prestigious conference papers. Her research interests include parametric design, smart cities, performance evaluation-based design, multiobjective design optimization, shading devices in buildings, and infrared thermography. Her H-index is 5, with more than 200 citations received in Google Academic Citations. In the academic year of 2018 to 2019, she has published two Q1 journal articles; one is in Energy and Buildings and the other is in Solar Energy. She is currently within the Reviewer Team of Elsevier Energy and Buildings, Solar Energy, and Applied Energy. She has several travel experiences in conferences throughout the world (e.g. U.K., Spain, Japan, France, and The Netherlands).
