Career Trajectory
Bio
Paula is graduated in Pharmacy - Food Technology by Federal University of Santa Maria (2005) and has Master degree inToxicological Biochemistry by the same university (2007). She has completed her PhD course in Biological Sciences-Biochemistry at Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) at 2010 and, since then, she has been teatching classes for undergraduated and postgraduated students. Nowadays, Paula is professor of the Food Science Department from UFRGS. Her interest field includes experimental nutrition, food toxicology, oxidative stress and antioxidants, in special poliphenols and carotenoids.
