个人简介
Currently, Dr. Atanu Jana is working as an Assistant Professor of Division Physics and Semiconductor Science, Dongguk University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. Previously, Dr. Jana worked as a Research Scientist at Center for Superfunctional Materials, Department of Chemistry, Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), 50, UNIST–gil, Ulsan 44919, Republic of Korea. Before that, he was a Research Associate at the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India. He earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. (Chemistry) from Vidyasagar University and Ph.D. from the University of Calcutta. He did his Post-Doctoral study at the University of Calcutta (India), Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (USA), and Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (India). He is the recipient of several awards like the Young Scientist Award from the Indian Chemical Society, Reviewer Award for Journal of Molecular structure, Arabian Journal of Chemistry, Journal of Taibah University for Science. He is a life member of several scientific professional bodies like “Indian Society of Chemists and Biologists” and “Materials Research Society of India”. Till date, he already published 52 articles in different peer-reviewed journals including ACS Energy Letters, Chemistry of Materials, Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters, Chemical Communications, Analyst, New Journal of Chemistry, RSC Advances, Dalton Transactions, Tetrahedron Letters, Journal of Luminescence, Inorganica Chimica Acta, Polyhedron, Journal of Molecular Structure, etc. He has a strong interest to design and synthesize new polytopic ligands which can be employed to generate clusters, grids, helicates, cages, ladders, and racks through self-assembly processes. His research interests also lie in the areas of chemical biology and biomolecular engineering and evolution investigating new methodologies toward the development of chemical agents useful for probing cell signaling pathways. Last few years, he is studying the optical properties of fully inorganic as well as organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite nanomaterials.
