Bio
Arindam is a doctoral student at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati and Curtin University, Australia. His current research focuses on electrochemical and computational analysis of the different aspects of Room Temperature Ionic Liquids (RTILs) and solid electrolytes coupled with high-performance energy storage devices.
He has completed a two-year Master's program in Renewable Energy predominantly focused on solar photovoltaics and wind energy at Australian National University. He has received a degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) with a specialisation in Electrical Engineering from Assam Engineering College (then affiliated to Gauhati University), India.
In conjunction with his academic commitments, Arindam has actively participated in and volunteered for various academic and non-academic positions, events, and organisations. He has served as a Senior Residential Scholar during his time at ANU. Presently, he is also engaged as a Teaching Assistant at IIT Guwahati.
His primary research interests include electrochemistry, energy storage, supercapacitors, solid electrolytes, ionogels, ionic liquids, deep eutectic solvents, eutectogels, renewable energy, and solar photovoltaics.
