I am a cell biology scientist with extensive training in cell and cancer biology, PhD in Cell Biology by the Åbo Akademi, Turku Centre for Biotechnology, Turku supervised by Prof. Dr. Daniel Abankwa. I have extensive training and experience in Ras biology and cancer signaling with an emphasis on Kras signalling and cancers. For my postdoctoral training, I have been working in the group of Prof. Owen J. Sansom (FRSE FMedSci FRCPS) at the CRUK Beatson Institute, developing pre-clinical genetically engineered mouse models of Kras-driven cancers (colorectal and pancreatic cancers), to examine the metabolism and genetic vulnerabilities of Kras mutant cancers using organoid, CRISPR, mass spectrometry imaging and metabolomic apporaches.
