个人简介
I am an early career aqueous geochemist with experience working with both organic and inorganic paleoclimate proxies. My current research focus is on the pore water geochemistry of trace metals and I am interested in how the interaction between marine sediments and the overlying water column can improve our interpretations of sedimentary records of Earth’s past climates. I’m combining petrographic examination of marine sediments with geochemical data to better understand the cycling of rare earth elements in the modern ocean in order to constrain the potential diagenetic influences on the neodymium isotope paleocirculation record. I’m also actively involved in projects from chromium cycling in the global ocean, applying trace metals to understanding groundwater flow to lacustrine springs, role of volcanism in ocean anoxia, environmental reconstructions for early animal life emergence, to historic mercury deposition in semi-rural lakes.
