个人简介
Antonio V. Herrera-Herrera obtained his BS degree in Chemistry at the University of La Laguna (ULL) in Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain) in 2007 and received his PhD in Chemistry in the same university in 2013 (Award for Best Thesis read in the Faculty of Chemistry in the year 2012/2013 and the PhD Prize of ULL in the same year), having performed a predoctoral stay at the Institute of Food Science Research (CIAL), which belongs to the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) and to Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). He has worked for the Infrared Spectroscopy Service and Agri-food Techniques Service of the General Research Support Services (SEGAI) of the ULL. Nowadays, he works as lab manager in the Archaeological Micromorphology and Biomarker Research Lab and collaborates with the Department of Chemistry. His research is focused on the development of new methodologies for the extraction and preconcentration of organic compounds in environmental (including sediments) and food samples by chromatographic and electromigration techniques.
