My current research interests are primarily focussed on the reproductive and trophic biology of pelagic fishes, notably the Atlantic bluefin tuna and smaller tuna species. This research typically involves the use of morphometry, gonad histology, diet composition, stable isotope analysis and telemetry. In the past, I worked on diverse aspects of the reproductive biology and gametogenesis of gastropod molluscs and decapod crustaceans based on histological and ultrastructural observations.
