个人简介
António Manuel Jordão is a graduate of Agro-Industries Engineering, from the Technical University of Lisbon - Agronomy Institute, Lisbon, Portugal, in 1997. He received his M.S. degree in Food Science and Technology from Technical University of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal in 1999, and received his Ph.D. degree in 2006, from the Technical University of Lisbon - Agronomy Institute, Lisbon, Portugal. Present investigation interests are the relationship between the different winemaking technologies and grape/wine composition, in particular chemical composition (namely in terms of phenolic composition) and sensory properties. The impact of the use of different wood species on wine aging process it is also an important research topic developed. António Manuel Jordão is an Associate Professor at the Department of Food Industries from Polytechnic Institute of Viseu - Agrarian School, Viseu, Portugal, and Researcher in Chemistry Centre of Vila-Real, Portugal. Scientific Editor of two books of Oenology. He is author/co author of 45 articles in peer reviewer scientific journals, 17 book chapters and more than 100 communications in scientific congress. Member of editorial board of scientific journals. Supervisor of several Master Thesis in Oenology. Develops consultancy service to wine companies and research projects evaluation.
